Random Updates

I had another interview this Wednesday and it was for a company in Shah Alam. This is my third interview in 3 consecutive weeks. So after making so much noise about not being called for any interview, it's nice to be able to say "I went for an interview the other day". My interview was in the afternoon so i went up to KL in the morning and had lunch with my aunt at Dusit Thai in Sunway Pyramid. I have to say that the tom yam is absolutely superb. Highly recommended. I ate until my stomach was about to explode and i couldnt even finish my drink. Hahaha. I know i know, it's not good to eat binge just before an interview but the food was delicous. Anyway, the interview went well and it's quite an interesting job. So i'll just have to wait for a couple of weeks to see if they'll offer me a job.

Allen, Stella and Siew Har were back in Malacca this weekend so we headed to Friend's Cafe in Melaka Raya for some chitchatting and catching up session. As usual, everyone had trouble deciding what to drink and being the lazy bum that i am, i decided to go with the tried and trusted Ice Blended Chocolate Chip drink. As usual we made damn a lot of noise there and some of us got to know a really surprising news. Then, another person got teased the whole night long and i think it's the first time ever the said person has been teased so much. Hahaha.

In other news, Schumi is retiring at the end of the season. It's sad to see a champion leave the sport but we'll have to respect his decision. I really started watching Formula 1 in 1999 when Sepang hosted it's first race and i really admired how Schumi gave up his place to Eddie Irvine to win the race because he was challenging for the championship. That was also Schumi's first race since he broke his leg. I was a Schumi and Ferrari fan since then so dont accuse me of just jumping on the bandwagon when Ferrari are winning so many races. At the time, Williams and McLaren were the top teams in Formula 1 and Ferrari had not won any championship since 1979.

Although he's a controversial racer where many claim that he's too aggressive and ruthless on the track, he has always produced the results when it matters most. He never gives up and he really appreciates his team because he knows that without them, he wont be able to win so many races. So, it's gonna be sad to see him go but Kimi isn't a bad replacement afterall.

P/S for Stella: I'm a teetotaler. A teetotaler is a person who abstains totally from drinking alcohol. I did try drinking a few drinks last time but i didnt really like it. So i made a decision to not drink. There are many famous teetotalers in the world, amongst them are Alan Smith , Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Vladimir Putin. So it's not uncommon to actually be a teetotaler. :)
