Trip Updates

I got back from South Korea last Saturday nite. The trip was awesome but i got tired of the food after about 3 days because the food was similar for almost every meal. Other than that, the scenery was beautiful because it was autumn and the air was fresh as there was no haze there. Hahaha. I got sore throat on the 5th day of my trip and that progressed into a fever. So i didnt manage to fully enjoy my last 2 days in Seoul. All in all, i had a great time holidaying there and now i look forward to a new chapter in my life - working. For pictures from my trip, please proceed to my webshots page.

P/S: For those who are curious, no i didnt see many hot chicks in Korea. I only saw a few chicks but most of them had some weird-looking face. There is also a possible explanation for this, i didnt go to the right places to see hot Korean chicks. If only we had time for some clubbing...

P/P/S: I saw a really hot chick at Starbucks@The Curve last nite. However, my sitting position wasnt the most strategic so Allen did most of the hot chick ogling last nite. Hahaha.

Anniversary

No it's not my wedding anniversary. It's the first anniversary of my surgery. It has officially been a year and i spent the day at Mahkota Medical Centre again this year. No it's not for a checkup on my knee but it's for a routine checkup for my employment purposes. Yes you've read that right. Yours truly is no longer unemployed come the end of the month. Wooohooooooo! However, before i start work i'm going off for a short holiday somewhere in the north east of Asia with my family and i'll be back in time for raya. Bring on the ketupat, rendang and sambal ikan bilis! Muahahahahaha!! Anyway, this is gonna be a short post and before i end it, i would like to wish a very Happy Deepavali to all of my Hindu friends. I'll see you guys/gals when i get back.

Horrified

The gym at MMU will be closed for the next 2 weeks. Bummer. And i wont be here for the week following those 2 weeks, i'm looking at 3 weeks without gym. It has been such a routine for me for the past 8 months that it would be weird not going to the gym for 3 weeks in a row. I guess i should get used to it cause i wont be able to do much gym work when i start working. Wait, that's IF i start working. If anyone actually wants to hire me. Yes, you've got that right. I'm very much still unemployed and i have to admit it, it's starting to get to me. I've had so many questions (You still jobless ar? Aren't your parents worried?), advises (You should try finding a part time job while waiting. Just apply everything. Dont be choosy.) and suggestions. The problem now is that i'm looking for a job that i would enjoy doing. The one that would make me feel happy to go to work in the morning not some clown job in a Mickey Mouse company. Probably i should just take everyone's advise and accept the first job that's offered to me, doesn't matter if it's a clown, juggler or quack job.

That aside, Midori was horrified when she found out that she's heavier than me. 500 grams heavier than me to be exact. However, her argument is that i'm lighter because i do not have boobs. That was when everyone went "Wtf kind of argument is that?". That got us imagining wondering how heavy her boobs actually are. So to satisfy our curiosity, we told her to get the weighing machine that she uses to weigh her flour for her muffins with to weigh her boobs. Muahahahahahaha!!! I wonder if we are going to get an answer from her.

I went jogging with Gary and Auds this evening. It's also the first time i managed to jog for 2 rounds non-stop. Gary went one better and jogged 3 rounds non-stop. Then we waited at the top of a small hill for Auds but after 3 rounds, we saw her jogged by for a forth round. We thought that was her final round so we chatted for a while and waited for her to finish. But then we saw her jogging past us for a fifth round! Yes siree, she left us with our jaws on the ground, in awe of her stamina. It was amazing.
