It's Been A While

Looks like it's been a while since i've posted. I'll give brief highlights on what's been going on for the past 3 weeks. So here it goes:

Monday 7/11/05: We went to a restaurant named Kensington's to celebrate Ashwin's birhtday. We had Western food, primarily chicken chops and fish and chips. The food there is ok but kinda on the pricey side.

Thurday 10/11/05: Went to IMU Seremban campus to watch their Deeparaya performance. My friend, Anusha, was performing. We missed the first half of the event because of a string of mistakes. We didnt drive that day, but instead carpooled with Mr. Chin. When we carpool, we wont leave SKF sooner than 6:30pm. So we waited and waited and at last went back with Mr. Kee. However, after driving for a few hundred metres, we noticed a weird sound coming out from the left rear tyre of his car. He stopped and checked his tyre only to find out it's punctured. So, there we were, changing a flat at the side of the road in the rain. By the time we reached home, it's already 7:30pm. We rushed to bathe and eat our Nasi Beriyani and then went to IMU. When we got there, we found out that we missed Anu's performance. Damn! I also found out that she's the chairperson of the event so she kinda busy to really have a chat with me. Anyway, in conclusion, the trip to IMU was well worth it although we had to endure some obstacles on the way there. We managed to cuci mata kau-kau there cause there were so many cun hot chicks there. Until now, we're still asking Ashwin why he didnt decide to pursue pharmacy. If he had studied pharmacy, he would be at IMU (hopefully) and he could introduce some of the chicks to us. That's a big IF. Wahahahaha!

Thursday 17/11/05: We went to a place called Hawaii Steak House to celebrate Chee Wee's birthday. The Western food there is more affordable than Kensington's with bigger portions but the service there not as good as Kensington's.

Wednesday 23/11/05: We had our Hari Raya Nite thingy at SKF. The Muslim employees organised and paid for it. The same as the Hindus organised and paid for the Deepavali Nite. We, the trainees, had to perform the 3 Raya songs. In the end, we had much fun. It was my first time wearing a Baju Melayu. I think the same goes for Chee Wee and Ashwin. Anyway, Ashwin looks like the Menteri Besar of Pulau Gadong. Look at the picture below and tell me if you agree with me. Hahaha.

Anyway, the Malay trainees are ending their training on Nov 30. I'm gonna miss practising my Malay with them. Although i can speak kinda good Malay, i can only understand 80-90% of what they are talking about when they speak among themselves. They speak fast using a slang with words that i dont really understand. I've also learnt a few new words from them. Hehehe.

I went to the doctor today. He said that i can discard the brace already and that i can start swimming and light jogging. I can also start driving. Woohooooo!!! Cant wait to drive to Seremban and then to KL for the weekend. Hopefully i can drive to Seremban on Dec 11. Just have to renew the road tax and fix the air cond. There's a weird smell emanating from the air cond. Hahaha.
