Christmas Weekend

Friday
Me and Ash left SKF rite after work and we followed Justin's car because he said that using the Sg. Besi toll would save us a heck lot of toll money. However, that plan was a bad idea as we got caught in a jam about 8km from the toll. We took 1 hour to reach the toll from SKF. We forgot that it was a long weekend and that a lot of people will be heading into KL for Chritmas. We were still in a jam after the toll so we decided to take the nearest highway back to TTDI. So we took the NPE to get to Bangsar. There was little traffic there so we thought that the nightmare was over. But that's not to be as we were stuck in another traffic jam at the junction to turn into Bangsar. Aaargghhhh!!! Anyway, we reached the end of Bangsar and got onto Sprint. Traffic was smooth sailing until the Sprint toll where we were caught in ANOTHER traffic jam. OMG! We eventually reached my aunt's place at 8:15pm. Last week when we took the Elite-NKVE route, we reached at 6:45. We took 2.5 freaking hours to get to my aunt's place when we could have done it in 1.25 hours.

Saturday
Today, my aunts made laksa for lunch. My sisters, Ash and i helped to pluck off the taugeh's "tails". When Allen came, he had to shred the chicken into strips. Hahahaha. After the delicious lunch, Ash, Allen and i went to 1U to watch King Kong. It was a really good movie but the final hour was destroyed by an inquisitive irritating kid who kept asking his mom questions. Aaarrgghh! They shouldn't allow kids in the cinemas! After the movie, i called Vivien to ask her about her Christmas eve plans. She said she didnt have any plans and that she was hungry so i invited over for some laksa. Allen came over for dinner too and we had turkey, Hokkien mee (FYI, Ash doesnt like Hokkien mee, weird fella), and yin yong (some fried kuey tiow with fried mee suah, dunno la...something like that la). Vivien came over a little later cos she came straight from church. We also managed to give Vivien her belated presents.

Please feel free to guess what Chee Wee and i got for her. Hahahaha.

Sunday
A relatively uneventful Christmas. Didnt do anything in the morning and the afternoon. Ended up watching Joey and Smallville just to pass the time away. However, my sister, Ash and i followed my aunt to her friend's Christmas dinner in the evening. It was damn fun because the guests there were telling all kinds of funny stories and jokes. Too bad we had to leave early.

Monday
Boxing Day. Everyone went to 1U to do some shopping, mostly for CNY stuff. Reached 1U at 10 something and then started shopping. We finished shopping at about 3 something so while waiting to watch Narnia, me and Ash had Gelare and some waffles at Waffle World while checking out the many cun chicks roaming around 1U. Then me and Ash met up wif Prem and her friend YK for Narnia. YK is a defender in their futsal team, same as Prem. Narnia was a different movie from King Kong but it's still a good movie. However, the movie was also ruined by some kid crying and shouting during the show. Aaarrghh! Anyway, we went to Nando's for dinner after the movie and met up with another of Prem's friend, KL. KL is the striker and captain of Prem's team. After that, we went to the arcade at U Bowl because Prem and YK wanted to play House of the Dead 3. Looking at those 2 chicks screaming while shooting monsters was damn hilarious. Then i invited them to my aunt's place because i had to pass a Russell Peters cd to Prem. To those who've not watched Russell Peters, you dont know what you are missing. We chatted till about 12am and then they went back.

Tuesday
Woke up at 9:45am today to do my course registration. But as always, MMU will find a way to screw up the course registration process. Thank you MMU for being so consistent, consistently bad that is. Thank goodness i'll be graduating soon because the registration process is always a chore.

Anyway, i saw this Japanese restaurant near my aunt's condo which reminds me of my good friend. Everytime i pass by this restaurant i'll laugh and think of her. By the way, i've not seen you for 11 weeks and 1 day. Muahahahahaha! Do you want to know how i could remember that? It's because the last time i saw you was when we had dinner at Burger King the night before my operation.

I'm leaving KL for Seremban at about 3pm today. I had a great Christmas weekend and i'm looking forward to spending the New Year weekend with my friends and family in KL. 3 days more and counting to another great weekend. Woohooo!!!!
